Quartermaster Basic


Description

The Quartermaster Basic course is designed for newly elected VFW Quartermasters seeking to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to serve as the chief financial officer of their Post or District. Participants will learn the fundamentals of nonprofit financial management, fiduciary responsibility, financial operations, budgeting, reporting, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship. Emphasis is placed on protecting organizational assets, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting informed decision-making, and ensuring the long-term financial stability of the Post or District through sound fiscal management and accountability.
